App and developer identification
This Privacy Policy applies to Consoul, the Android application published on Google Play under package identifier com.dipanudas.transit. “Consoul,” “the app,” “we,” and “us” refer to the developer and publisher of this app. The developer and privacy contact is luminascan365@gmail.com, and the official website is www.consoul.shop.
What the app stores locally
Ride distance, speed, speed-hold time, route points, settings, selected app package names, license status, and recent Google Maps navigation details are stored in app-private storage on your device. Media title, artist, and playback state may be shown while music is playing. Exact GPS routes, media details, and navigation instructions are not uploaded by Consoul.
Information used for global ranking
Global ranking is optional. If you choose “Save and join global rank,” Consoul creates an anonymous account and uploads your chosen rider name, city or region, bike make, bike model, best sustained speed, hold duration, and achievement time to Supabase. The public leaderboard shows opted-in ranking information: rider name, city or region, bike make and model, sustained top speed, and hold duration. Exact GPS routes are not uploaded for ranking.
How information is used
Online profile and ride-achievement information is used only to save your rider profile and calculate your current worldwide rank. The public leaderboard shows opted-in ranking information, including rider name, city or region, bike make and model, sustained top speed, and hold duration.
Location, navigation, media, and permissions
Location permission is used to measure movement, speed, distance, weather context, and local route history. For current weather, the app sends latitude and longitude to Open-Meteo. When you enable notification access, Consoul reads Google Maps navigation notifications to show the current maneuver and uses Android media-session information to show and control active playback. Consoul ignores notification content from other apps for navigation. Bluetooth, display-settings, device-administrator, boot, wake-lock, and notification permissions are used only for the controls and ride features you choose to enable.
Sharing and service providers
Optional ranking data and anonymous authentication are processed by Supabase. Weather coordinates are processed by Open-Meteo. Map-tile requests are sent to OpenStreetMap when the route map is displayed. These providers may receive normal network information such as your IP address. Consoul does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, does not sell personal information, and does not share app data for advertising. Information may be disclosed when required by applicable law.
Security
Network requests to Supabase, Open-Meteo, and OpenStreetMap use HTTPS. App data is stored in Android app-private storage, and the anonymous Supabase session token is encrypted with a key held by Android Keystore. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but Consoul uses reasonable technical safeguards appropriate to the data it processes.
Retention and deletion
Local information remains until you reset ride data, clear the app's storage, or uninstall Consoul. Online profile and ranking information remains until you use “Delete online account” in the rider profile; this permanently requests deletion of the anonymous account, online profile, and ranking score. Deleting the online account does not delete local ride history. You may also request online account deletion by emailing luminascan365@gmail.com with the subject “Consoul account deletion” and your rider name and city or region so the account can be identified and the request verified.
Children
Consoul is not directed to children under 13. Do not join global ranking if you are not permitted to provide the profile information in your country.
