Consoul checks every status Android exposes and places the correct action beside it. Install from Google Play for the smoothest setup experience—most permissions are handled automatically.
Open Consoul → Home → Ride setup on your phone for live status and one-tap activation.
Location permission
Tap Allow in Consoul Home for motion-confirmed speed, trip distance and weather.
Phone location
Tap Open, then switch on Android Location/GPS before a ride.
Allow restricted settings
For Play Store installs this is automatic. If you installed an older APK version, open App info, tap the top-right menu, then Allow restricted settings.
Music & Maps access
Open Notification access and enable Consoul for media and current Maps instructions.
Playback equalizer
No audio-recording permission is needed. The equalizer follows play and pause state without attaching to the phone's output audio.
Bluetooth & hibernate
Optional. Bluetooth supports bike controls; hibernate-on-unplug remains off until you enable it.
